CONGRATULATIONS!
Now that you believe the Gospel, you have been born-again into the family of God! Please e-mail
me (see the "CONTACT" link below) to let me know.
You're probably thinking, "that's great but I don't feel any different" (except maybe a sense that
a burden has been lifted). That's ok! In fact, and this may sound strange, becoming a Christian
should be based more on intellect than emotion. Your emotions will come and go - that is why
your faith in Jesus Christ should be based on the evidence, not how you feel.
Now it is very important that you get yourself on the right path. Here is a list of what to do next:
- Pray to God. If you haven't done this yet, it's a good time to start.
Prayer is how you communicate with God. Just close your eyes to avoid distractions and tell Him
what's on your heart: confess your sins, thank Him for all He's done for you, tell Him what
you're feeling. Pray regularly!
- Read the Bible. Start with the Gospel of John. The Bible is the main way
that God will communicate back to you. Read regularly!
- Obey the Bible. Reading the Bible doesn't do any good if you don't do what
it says.
- Find a good Bible-teaching church.
- Obey the Bible.
- Start attending the Bible-teaching church that you've found. Regularly!
- Obey the Bible.
- Join a small-group Bible study.
- Obey the Bible.
- Share the Gospel with those around you! This step may be done at any point!
- Oh yeah, did I mention obey the Bible? Good. Do it!

increase beyond your obedience."
"But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone
who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you. . . "(1 Peter 3:15)
